William Lee Skaggs

William Lee Skaggs was born on December 31, 1963 in Los Angeles, CA to Robert and Linda Skaggs and passed away November 23, 2020 in Bakersfield, CA.  The family decided to move from the hustle and bustle of the big city and settled in Bakersfield in 1978.  It was here that Willie began his career as a truck driver at the age of 25 which would span over the next 30 years.  

He is survived by his 5 children; Billy and Stephanie Skaggs, Emily Skaggs (Gabriel), Megan Skaggs, Dorian Skaggs, and Drake Skaggs, 9 grandchildren, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Willie was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

He was very much loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
