Thomas Patrick Wells

Pat Wells went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in Bakersfield, CA, surrounded by his daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, and brother Mike. Born November 16, 1949, Pat was the second of three sons to Thomas Oliver (T.O.) and Gladys Wells.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Pauline. Pat is survived by his daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Jesse, and grandchildren Trevor, Jerica, Jessalyn, Ethan, Trenton, and Chloe.

Pat grew up in Buttonwillow, CA. After graduating from Shafter High School, he served his country honorably in the Air Force from 1968-1974.

He was happiest when fishing, taking long drives to enjoy nature, and most of all, on the golf course. He truly enjoyed spending his summers in Oregon with beloved friends. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and friend with a kind and generous heart. He went out of his way to help others in need and accepted everyone for who they were.

The family would like to thank the staff at Memorial Hospital, Hoffman Hospice, and Arcadia Gardens for their loving and genuine care.

The family will hold a private celebration of life.
