Sharon Laura (Ballengee) Page passed away on August 21st, 2024. Sharon lived in Buttonwillow, California, with her husband Ted Page and mini-Australian Shepherd, Ellie. Sharon was 72 years old.
Sharon was a devoted wife to her husband, Ted. She was a loving mom to her daughters, Beth and Leigh. She was a generous and fun Nonna to her grandchildren Alex, Charlotte, and Jack. And she was a kind sister to Mark and Lynda Ballengee, Desiree Ballengee, and Keith and Barbie Ballengee.
In her 72 years, Sharon lived a full and vibrant life. Sharon loved music and going to concerts. She was fond of knitting and cross-stitch. She made giant batches of homemade spaghetti sauce and soups so she could share it with family and friends. Sharon loved spending time at her beach house and enjoyed every sunset with a glass of Chardonnay. She lived for trips to Italy and the chance to speak what Italian she knew. Sharon enthusiastically supported the San Francisco Giants and reveled in rooting against the Los Angeles Dodgers. She loved playing board games and was fiercely competitive. Her ability to host lively parties and Christmas Eves with too much food and wine will be dearly missed.
Sharon now rests in peace with her mother and father, Bina and Rex Ballengee, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patty and Otis Page, and her sweet twins, Jody Leann Page and Jerrod Christopher Page.
She is survived by her husband Ted Page, her daughter Beth Hogan and son-in-law Mark Hogan, daughter Leigh Keegan, grandkids Alex Bean, Charlotte Bean, Jack Keegan, Zack Hogan, and Kristen (Strawn) Betz. Not to mention the nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends who’s lives she touched.
We will celebrate Sharon’s life on September 5th, 2024 with a memorial service at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church at 10:00am. We recommend wearing something colorful, to honor Sharon’s colorful spirit.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to LUNGevity Foundation. Please visit lungevity.org to make a donation.
