RICHARD AMERIGO "BUTCH" SANDRINI

Butch was born to Amerigo “Mergie” and Mary Louise Sandrini in Bakersfield, CA where he grew up and graduated from Garces Memorial High School.  After graduating from Bakersfield College, he worked briefly in banking, but spent most of his career in the healthcare industry in hospital administration.  Butch moved periodically throughout his life, but always called California home living in Fresno, Hemet, San Diego, Sacramento, Palm Desert, Riverside, and finally came home to Bakersfield where he passed peacefully with family.

He married Patricia Nielsen in 1968, Ann Amenta in 1976 and was a devoted partner and husband to Marvin Beachler for over 30 years.

Butch is survived by his children Vincent Legari, Chad Sandrini, Todd Sandrini (Sophia Elming), Amy Freselli (Samuel Freselli), and Tony Sandrini (Maygen Sandrini), as well as Mike Beachler and Erin Wellington;  nephew Rick Sandrini; and proud grandfather of eleven grandchildren.  Butch is also survived by his brother Alvin Sandrini (Barbara Sandrini), many cousins and caring friends.

He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family.  He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it.  He will be missed dearly.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Historic Union Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at Wool Growers Restaurant.
