Raul Palomino

Raul Leopoldo Palomino Sr. went to heaven on Saturday August 21, 2021 surrounded by his wife Lisa Palomino and four children.

Roy was born on February 23, 1955 in Bakersfield, CA. He married his love Lisa on December 17, 1977. They had 44 years of passion, love and laughter.

Roy loved being with his grandchildren and watching them play sports or perform in school events, he also enjoyed riding his Harley, shopping for bargains and working in his yard. He was a member of the Shades of Brown car club in his youth and Hermanos Unidos motorcycle club during his retirement years. He loved helping families in need especially during the holidays. His tender and loyal heart was a gift he shared with everyone.  Roy was a survivor and never held down by adversity, he was a light in darkness.

Roy was preceded in death by Josephine Hernandez Garcia (mother), Paul Christopher Palomino (father), Diane Lopez (sister), Gloria Palomino (sister), William Palomino (brother).

Roy is survived by his wife Lisa, son’s Christopher Palomino (Melanie) and Raul Palomino Jr. (Sophia Ortega), daughter’s Laura Elrod (Bryan) and Gina Bishop (David), grandchildren Isabella Palomino, Raul Palomino III, Angelita Elrod, Russell Elrod, Patrick Elrod, Brooklyn Bishop, Alexis Bishop, Christopher Bishop and Charlotte Bishop

Graveside services will be held Saturday September 4, 2021 10:30am at Historic Union Cemetery 730 Potomac Ave Bakersfield, CA 93307
