It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marjorie Maxine Ioppini, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, on August 13, 2024. She was 80 years old.
Marjorie, who went by Maxine, or more affectionately by, “Missy,” dedicated her life to her family, embodying the true essence of motherhood. As a stay-at-home mom, she created a home filled with unconditional love, warmth, and support. Her nurturing spirit was the cornerstone of her family, and she poured her heart into raising her daughters, instilling in them the values of kindness, compassion, and resilience.
Every milestone, from the first steps to graduations, was met with her boundless pride and joy. She was always there with a comforting word, a helping hand, or a listening ear, guiding her girls through life's challenges with wisdom and grace. Her love knew no bounds, and her daughters always knew they had a safe haven in her arms.
She had a deep passion for reading, finding joy and solace in the pages of her favorite books. Her love for traveling took her to many places, both near and far. Her favorite place was Hawaii. She traveled there many times creating beautiful memories with her family. Above all, Maxine adored her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and she embraced this role with the same love and dedication she had as a mother. She delighted in every moment spent with them, showering them with affection and imparting the same wisdom and love she had given to her girls.
She will be deeply missed by her family. She leaves behind her loving daughters, Amy Daley and her husband David Daley, and Emily Ioppini-House and her husband Alex House. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Hazel House, James McCoy, Hunter Daley, Gunnar Daley, Amelia Daley, and Abigail Daley. She was a beloved sister to Theresa McNanna-Van Son and Gary McNanna. Missy was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Marjorie McNanna and her husband, James Bruce Ioppini, with whom she shared 55 joyful years.
