Passed: August 16th, 2022 in Bakersfield, California
She leaves to mourn her passing: Parents Mike and Joanne Carter,
husband Brian Brackett and their children Ryan and Riley; her daughters
Kourtnee Carter, Elizabeth Kimbrell Trinity Shepherd (Tate Carter)
and two granddaughters Athena and Everly.
She completed high school in 1994 and continued to work
different jobs, and take classes on the internet while raising her family.
She achieved an AA degree in accounting and her B.A. degree and Masters
in Psychology. She worked at several different companies over the years her
last one at Kern County Human Resources as Human Resources Tech II.
Kim enjoyed crocheting, knitting, jigsaw puzzles and anything to do with
painting and drawing. She enjoyed camping and road trips anywhere with
friends and family. Her favorite animal was the Penguin and she collected
many of them, stuffed, on clothing, and other items.
Memorial service will be held Friday October 21st, 2022 at
Hillcrest Seventh day Adventist church, 2801 Bernard street at 3pm.
