JoAnn White

JoAnn Regina White, age 72, passed away on August 2, 2020 after a 6 year long battle with metastatic breast cancer.  JoAnn was born January 25, 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio.  She was a warrior and fought the good fight.  She is now resting peacefully with the Lord and all her loved ones who have preceded her in death.

She is preceded in death by her father, Pete Makrias and mother Phyllis Makrias, first husband John C. Biondillo (widowed) and husband John R. White.

She is survived by her daughter, Briana White-Dodson, her son-in-law, James A. Dodson, granddaughter Drew Dodson.Son, Regan W. White, her daughter-in-law, Sherri White, granddaughter Ryann White of Bakersfield, Ca.

Joann was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed gardening, music, vacations and her beloved cat “Peanut.”

Joann was an inspiration to many fighting cancer. She had a witty sense of humor and a way with words that provided laughter, encouragement and love to the many friends she met through MyBCTeam.

Interment will be at the Bakersfield National Cemetery.

Due to Covid, no services are planned at this time.
