Alice Ortiz Sabbatini

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield California on September 25 11:00 A.M.

It will be a graveside ceremony, Alice will be buried with her mother, Amelia Ortiz. Reception to follow, location will be provided later.
Alice was born in Arvin on October 13, 1943 and sadly passed away on July 19, 2021 at the age of 77.
Alice attended school in Arvin until as a teen the family moved to Bakersfield. She graduated from East Bakersfield High School and worked for the Kern County Treasurers Office for many years. She then joined the United Food & Commercial Workers Union.
She leaves behind her daughter, Lisa, and son-in-law Jeff Voigt and many families and friends including her brothers Richard Ortiz, Remey Ortiz and their families. Sadly, her youngest brother Julian also passed away in August of this year.
She is preceded in death by her parents Eliseo and Amelia Ortiz, sister Mary Lou Flores, brothers Edward Ortiz, Rudy Ortiz, Cruz Ortiz, and Bob Ortiz.
